Camping

Camp in our beautiful natural surroundings with native bush, flowing streams, singing birds, and glow worm grottos on your doorstep. Access to shared bathroom and lounge area.
 

Please bring your own camping gear. We have only have tent camping available, unfortunately we can’t accommodate caravans and campervans

Marae Style

This follows a NZ Maori Culture tradition. Like many other cultures, Maori believe that the mind is particularly open and receptive in that state between being awake and asleep and so treasure this time spent in union. Following this tradition Maori would each night assemble their mattresses and belongings and each morning pack them all to the side to clear the Marae for the day.
 

We provide a mattress, fitted sheet, pillow and pillow case. Please bring your own duvet, blankets and towel. Accommodation will only be available in the evening from 7.30p.m up until 8a.m in the morning. Guests will have room to store their belongings but will have no(very limited) access throughout the day while workshops are running.

Van Camping

A very limited number of van camping sites is available. The fee is for 3 nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). NOTE : this ticket is not valid for motorhomes, caravans and campervans, these large vehicles can only park in the council carpark.
