Session 1:   Dance of the Deer

Considered to be one of the last living Pre-Columbian traditions in North America, the Huichol are one of the last tribes to maintain their sacred Dance of the Deer – one of the most important ceremonies in their vibrant spiritual culture. Join shaman and healer, Brant Secunda for this special ceremony and dance your prayers into Mother Earth, creating a circle of unity with all of life.  Allow yourself to enter a powerful state of consciousness and joy through participation in this ancient dance that celebrates the light of creation.

Session 2:  The Healing Way

The Huichol Indians of Mexico believe that healing is a way of life that permeates every aspect of our existence, not just a response to illness.  Using ceremony to connect the human heart to the heart of creation, internationally acclaimed shamanic teacher Brant Secunda will lead participants in an exploration of the healing traditions of Huichol Shamanism.  Learn practices of purification, prayer, dream work, visionary art and drumming that foster a deep connection with nature and empower your personal well-being.
